Hey, I'm 16 and I'm taking a yoga class at school (it was the easiest looking class for my required PE credit). So no yoga cracks, please. But it is actually really educational. So to help lose that fat - I would totally suggest trying yoga and pilates - also resistance training with weights. Did you know that the more muscle mass you have the more calories your body will burn at rest? Plus a lot of the pilates exercises focus on tightening and strengthening your tummy muscles which might help some of that fat go away. Good luck!

First - Think about what you mean by 'right foods and exercising', and be honest with yourself. Because you just will not have a slow metabolism and belly fat if you are truly eating properly and exercising.
Second, you need to start eating proper nutritional foods (Fruit, Vegetables, Whole Grains and Protein (meat and nuts). Cut out all of your junk food, I'm sure you know the difference between junk food and healthy food.
Thirdly, you need to exercise so that you sweat for about 30 minutes 4 days a week at least. Exercise is the best way to increase your body's metabolism.
There is no magic spell that will make your metabolism quicker. You just need to start taking responsibility for your diet and exercise and your body will happily follow along.
Good luck!

You are at the age of growth that sometimes has a person a bit more chunky than they will be when they grow up.
Exercizing right before a meal can spead up your metabolism. Like jump rope.
Diet Soda has been reported to cause a person to have more fat tissue in the abdomine, plus that surgar free stuff isn't good for the kidneys.
Have you had your thyroid checked yet?
Walking and swimming are the best all around exercises are best for well being.
Cut back on your portions. Never go without eating......that is a sure way for your body to say........"this is famine mode...hang on to every calorie and fat" Thus- never starve yourself. Eat healthy.
Drink lots of water.
I applaud you for not going anorexic but being healthy in your approach to being the best that you can be.
I say BRAVO

Lots of protien! Eggs for breakfast & chicken for dinner (eating no later then 7pm). Then when you get in bed do as many miny crunches as possible. So you dont strain your back but you get a burn. Work up to 100 a night, maybe 25 the 1st week, 50 the second & so on. You will start slimming down. No need to starve yourself or exercise non stop. A hot bath helps get rid of toxins, just do things that make you feel better about yourself & are good for you. Smart to be concerned now doesnt sound like you are to over weight but heading that way. So congratulations & I know you can do it.

Drink more water. Also drink water with lemon juice in it. When you first get up in the morning heat up about 4oz. of water put some lemon juice in it. oh to answer your question yoga is not for old people. That was funny. Yoga will help you with proper breathing which helps speed that metabolism, also it's great for toning your body parts while you are losing all the weight.

Consult with a doctor before doing anything. Your body is going through changes. Don't do anything extreme. Try more excercise. Aloe vera juice has a slimming effect in my opinion. Ask your parents to look into the Slendertone Flex to increase the strength of your stomach muscles. Consult with a doctor and with your parents approval and give that a try.

If you are exercising your metabolism will be quite high - thats if you are exercising hard enough. Try some high cardio workout such as running or try a body pump or body combat class. Try your local gym- and remember that just doing abdominal exercises doesn' shift fat from your abdomen!!!

A fast metabolism is part of puberty.Try this ,eat more often ,not more ,just more often.Break your daily calories in 6 smaller meals. This is how you r body is designed to run,and if your body thinks it is in danger of starvation it will shut down the metabolism to retain fat.

Eat three well balanced meals a day.
Get plenty of sleep each night.
Exercise each day.
Sounds basic right? Well, it works. You are young enough now to make it work right for you.
Remember you are still growing. Try the above it really does work.
