Depends...will you be putting the white or the yolk on your hair? The yolk...or the yellow part is made of more fat and is more likely to smell more. The white has more protien and is less likely to have a strong smell. Now I would not recommend sleeping with egg in your hair...just because it would get sticky and make knots.

I think that's a very old fashioned approach, try Nut oil leave ins like the Body Shops Nut Oil Hair Repair, It is the BEST!

Oh yeah. the decaying organic matter would start to stink, as would the sulfides...but, it's nothing you cant get rid of in a shower.

probably, mayo - full fat, for about half an hour, or VO5 hot oil are better than egg though.
