What's the best place to go for a romantic weekend getaway that is also affordable?

I made a special evening by: Telling my husband we were going out to dinner. When I had actually got a motel room within that restaurant ready for him.. Putting his favorite drink in the tub and laid out bathing suit for going in the spa and a basket of his favorite cooked foods.. It was a challenge to keep it quiet from him until that day..but it was so, worth the surprise.. And we were close en ought to the the babysitter in case of an emergency. as we were new parents.

If you live near a beach or a lake, then that is always a good place for a romantic getaway. If you live near the mountains, that is a great choice as well.

skinny dipping in your pool in your backyard just kidding. seriously though. just cut off all contact with the outside world and stay home. hide the car so everyone thinks you r gone. turn the ringer off on the phone. have candle lit dinners and soft romantic music. candle lit baths are fun also. just enjoy being together without having to go anywhere. the most romantic part about all this is u can do it all completely nude and nobody would even know about it. the romance part comes with just being together alone.
