Imagine this scenario: You have been friends with benefits with your ex-boyfriend for a year and a half and realize you are going emotionally crazy. HE broke up with you when you moved away to college b/c the long distance was too hard and you are seven years younger and he wants you to have fun and enjoy college. You tell him that you don't want him to call you anymore (After 2 years of being friends) b/c it is emotionally draining you out. You say you need time to meet other people and for yourself but want to be friends in the near future. WILL this guy ever call me back? This is what happened with me and my ex and I am kinda regretting telling him not to call me for now b/c its too hard and I need to move on. I misss him SOOO much. He use to call me every two weeks or so. I did tell him that I wanted to be friends in the near future though. Do you think he'll ever call me again or will he wait for me to do the calling? Im scared to call b/

Why do u want him to call u now. U yourself ended the thing, then why are u running after that past which is good for nothing. U r missing him because he was with u for a long time and I think that u couldnot understand what u wanted. But now its over for good concentrate on ur studies and enjoy the things u do. U will certainly get someone better.

I say just call him. You'll drive yourself crazy worrying about whether he will call or not. Just work up the nerve and call him. If that's what you really want, is to hear from him, then in the end you won't regret calling him. He might call, he might not, so don't wait around for him to make the first move. If you want to talk to him, step up and grab that phone. I know it may be scary or nerve-wracking to call him, but it will probably be worth it in the end.

I'm kinda living the same situation. It sucks huh? All I can say is don't be to proud to call him, If you want to go for it, what do you got to lose. Honesty is always the key. Honesty towards yourself and your ex. Hope for the best. Good Luck.
