Benny Hinn and his ilk are professional con men who have preyed on people's tendency to throw away good sense where faith is involved. He tells them what they want very much to hear and uses a little stage trickery to lend himself credence. He should be in jail for fraud...but he's been just skirting the edge of it.

I notice his apoligists insist on the most incredible explanation for his exposure as a fraud: That somehow the exposure of fraud is somehow fraudulent by "Jewish bankers" or some other conspirational nonsense. Hinn tripped his own damn self up, and he still hasn't gotten what he deserves. It is because of religious faith that he still makes a living shearing the gullible sheep.

Well, I question Benny Hinn's legitimacy because he is/has dodging/dodged the IRS. I'm a Christian, but honestly, I don't believe in Benny Hinn's "powers". Unfortunately, guys like him continue to profit because they prey on the elderly. Most people (not all) that contribute to him are elderly and widowed. That can also be read as: they're lonely, plain and simple. Think about it. These little old ladies sit at home all day, they can't get out, moving around is too painful, they almost never have friends come by, family probably doesn't come by as much as they should, and Benny Hinn looks right into their living rooms, and speaks to them when no one else will. I think what Benny Hinn does is illegal, but I'm not sure if the way we in the U.S. often forget the elderly isn't even worse.
