No problem, at least you know Who to turn to when you need help. I was very emotional with my pregnancy also but it did pass and now I am blessed with an inexplicably and wonderfully happy baby boy. I pray for the same for you!
Were you clinically depressed before your pregnancy or do you think this is hormonal related to it? And have you spoken to your obstetrician about it? He/she may have some suggestions to help relieve your stress. Also, what is your support system like at home? Is your husband aware of how you are feeling and is he willing to step up and help you or do you have some other family or church friends you can turn to for help in caring for your other children? I know it can be very overwhelming, I'll also pray that the Lord sends some practical help your way.

Most importantly, start by paying attention to yourself. If you succeed in loving yourself only then can you love and care for your children (born and unborn). So dear woman, try and see all the good things about yourself....the very fact that you recognise the problem is a good thing....give yourself a pat on the back and keep doing that more often.
Secondly, go and see a therapist. They really help you get through such difficulties in a more reasonable manner.
Thirdly, pray...not as a victim but as a hero. Tell Him that you have the "will" to beat this depression and viola...! you will. Tell Him, you "have" the strength which is misplaced and you need Him to help you find it.
God comes only half way...the other half you have to come. So start by loving yourself enough to pamper yourself. Take a deep breath and say "I am the queen of the world".."I am the best and I deserve the best". Believe in your own power to change things around.
Praying for you.

I have this sneaky suspicion that you are becoming prayer dependent.
If prayer helped you to gain your appetite, meaning, that God listened to all those prayers, (but was originally ignoring your problem until these caring people woke him up) and decided to help you with eating, but said. . "Oh. . to hell with her depression. . I'll just wait until enough people pray and specifically ask to help her out in that problem . . . meanwhile I'll just take another nap". . . then you are in big trouble.
Pray yourself and may I suggest you see a shrink or your family doctor. YOU must take action to make yourself better and not depend on everyone praying to God every time you have a problem.
If the doctor is able to help you, then your prayers were answered. From what I read, Jesus got tired of being used by those who asked for help that were able to help themselves.

prayers wont help with depression by themselves. you need to talk to a therapist. go to a seminary if you are into religion, they might be able to cut you a deal and give you free therapy, or a monthly fee based on your income. if no seminary is available, try a student trying to get his masters in psychology or psychiatry, they should be free as well. ask around some local colleges' department of psychology.
you can still ask for prayers, but dont rely entirely on them, or you might not like what you find as a result.

Sorry your hormones are running amuck.
Tears can be very cleansing Find a sad movie so you have an excuse to cry in front of the children. No doctor would give you any meds that are safe so bring on the Bosco. Suck up any chocolate you can get your hands on . It works on raising your endorphins. My prayers are with you.

The answers here tell you that you are loved, and that many people care for you and your children. So ask a friend or a minister to help find a doctor who will both pray and give you the right meds. And when you remember that you are loved, smile for your kids; it will help.

Hi!
Depression is a state of mind. In our worldly pursuits, we have forgotten our true identity and that is the reason why we undergo anxieties, fears, depressions at various stages in our life. The need is to remain sef aware as to where we are heading to, in our worldly pursuits. This will only come if you tame your mind, i.e., the thought process. Try and watch your thoughts conciously and see where they take you. Keep coming back to the state where you began, that is remain unattached and keep watching ... do not get influenced by the thoughts in your mind. Take the help of soothing music. Download the music available at the following link:

Watch the difference and let me know if you have experienced calmness.
Thanks!
