Sounds very possesive and insecure about himself. He must not think that you can take of yourself or know how to handle yourself around men when he's not around. What will be next? The mall, movies, bars, restaurants. I hear that guys go to these places too.

Hi Dalia
Sounds like your bf is quite insecure about this relationship / might be the possesive sort.
There's really not much way around this. Either you go because you want to (heck with what he things) or you don't go (cause he said so).
I guess it's really more of a question of what kinda relationship are you comfy with and whether this is symptomic of other issues in the relationship.
Think it over, hope you'll go gyming in the end. : )

Whoa. He sounds awfully possessive if he's trying to control who looks at you. When you go out to dinner, does he make you wear a sheet over your head? Or does he just beat down anyone who glances your way? This is not a good sign of a healthy relationship. He either does not trust you (does he have any reason not to?) or maybe you shouldn't trust him. I have found that those possessive types are that way because they themselves are the one with the wandering eye. Just my thoughts. But I agree. You don't need his permission. Stand up for yourself. If he can't deal, scrap him.

If your boyfriend is that jealous that he thinks you gone try to get yo freak on at the gym then he have some serious issues. Girl you better go too that gym and if he is so upset tell him to get his fat behind up and go with you.

i think that if he has that big of a problem it is time to examine your entire relationship because this seems a little controlling and it might only be the beginning. i just got out of a relationship with a guy who did the same thing where it got so bad that he wanted me to transfer to an all-girls school so that no guys would look at me. seriously get out. (or tell him that you will wear sweats)

Yeah good advice from everyone so far. And might I add...
What the hell? Use your brain and go do what you want. If he gets away with THIS, he'll just keep trying to control you more and more. Be your own person and make your own decisions. There ARE guys out there who aren't like this...dump him.

Well this has to do with the mutual understanding between you two. If this becomes a nuisance it will be best you breakup and find a one who's living on this earth.
