I have asked this question before but.. In more detail My husband is being accused of raping and molesting my sister, my mother believes it after 20 years of marriage I did ask him and he is saying he did nothing and she is lying, but my gut believes some of it, and my heart says he is not capable of doing these things, I am going to have to pay for a polygraph test or something so I can know the truth,And I had asked what other test I could do to figure this out or maybe get a truthful answer one way or another, I love him so and can not believe after all these years she would now come out and say these things happened it does not make sense, she said it started happening sense she has been 7 yrs old and that is sick, but yet he says that when she was 18 they did have a fling,which just blew me away.So I dont know if he is just saying that and she says no way did that happen she hated him in her heart and was afraid of him, he had threatened her not to tell or else,would should I do?

I guess the only reason I doubt it at all is because he says that it was a affair and that it lasts nearly a year, and what if she is bitter because he did not end up with her or something? but then on the other hand she has details details details about things he has done to her where when where i was when it happened and at one point i was sleeping in the bed and he did things to her next to me while i slept, now how do I not believe something like that.

get professional help for your sister. a psychologist can determine whether she is telling the truth or not. but be strong of whatever result would come up because it will destroy either your relationship with your husband or with your sister & mother. You are in a NO win-win situation. A more painful way is let your mother sue your husband and let the court decide. Again, whatever will be the court decision, will destroy any of your relationships.

Sweetie, please, wake up!!! Ask yourself: Why would anyone falsely accuse your husband of rape? For attention? I don't think so. It's time to stop thinking with your heart and start listening to that gut feeling. You are married to an evil monster. Get rid of him and be there for your sister.
