June 20th 2006; I had my tubes tied and I am now EXPECTING another baby! NOT GOOD!!! Im just wondering if there is any one out there that has had the same happen to them after the "tubal ligation" or female steralization?

I called in Tubes Tied because not everybody knows what a tubal ligation is... But the doctor said that he went in and put electrical current through the tubes untill the tissue was dead. HE DID NOT CLIP OR CUT the Tubes according to what they told me they burned or electricuted them.

There is a popular radio personality here in Arkansas who got pregnant a couple of months after having a tubal. I just had one in June as well. I am so sorry to hear that happened to you. However, after the baby comes you will look at it as a blessing. Good luck.

Having your tubes tied is not the same thing as a tubal ligation. That is the problem with the tying method, they can come untied and you can become pregnant. Tubal ligation is really the only guaranteed method.

i have two friends that both had a tubal ligation and became pregnant several years after. One had them cut and they grew back together over the years the other friend just had them tied but apparently the doc only tied one in his haste to close. so yes, it happens...not often but it does happen.

My friend got pregnant and her tubes were tied. She couldnt have the baby though. They did a D&C. An older lady told me she got pregnant and her tubes where tied. Her child came out healthy. I think it is a possibility. Go to your doctor and be sure

yes i heard that happen but not as quick. my friends mom had him after her tubes had been tied for 5 years because after 5 years they become untied if they were not tied clipped and burnt in that case pregnancy will not be able because the ties will never come back together.

Honestly... It happens alot more then you know. My friend just got her tubes tied and she swears if she gets pregnant again. She's suing. Take it as a blessing. I know you don't want to hear it. You didn't want anymore kids and trust me I just had my first and I do not want more kids. Wherever you had your tubes tied at. I would report them. They did not do they're job! They made you a mom again. Congradulations though.

My moms aunt recently got pregnant with twins almost immediately after having her tubes tied. What a surprise.....

Yes it happened to my mother she had her tubes tied and got pregnant and out come my brother had them tied again and got pregnant and out come my other brother she says now that shes glad that it happened because she couldnt see her life without them they are 17 and 13 now oh and I'll take your baby I love babies.

I read one in the paper that after 28 years of having it done she got pregnant and that she had a granddaughter older than her baby

there is no guarantee /read the small print on contract
and they tell you that when you sign they even told my Friend that they can grow back and re attach after being cut and burned, that it was rare but it has happened..
