The magic number never goes up. It can only stay the same or
go down. Since the White Sox have 69 losses when I write this
reply, the best they can do this season is 93 wins (#of games
in a MLB season (162)-number of losses so far). Minnesota
only needs to surpass 93 wins for the season. They have 92
wins so far. Detroit is guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. The
magic number is 2, meaning any combination of Twins victories
and White Sox losses equalling 2, will mean the Twins will clinch
at least the wildcard spot. The WhiteSox need to win every single
remaining game, and hope the Twins lose every single
remaining game, for them to clinch the wildcard spot, since they
have absolutely no chance to win their division title.
The White Sox haven't been mathematically eliminated yet,
but for all intensive purposes, they are done.

12. a mixture of 12 Cubs wins/Brewers Losses. The Brewers have performed 2 fewer video games than the Cubs, and they have an identical type of losses, so the Brewers Magic variety is 14...a mixture of 14 Brewers wins and Cubs losses, and the Brewers are available first. interest Cardinal Fan: each crew that has no longer been eliminated from the purpose to which their Magic variety aspires has a magic variety! If the Cubs and the Brewers are tied with an same list, then the Cubs Magic variety is the type of video games very last, plus one. BTW, in this celebration, the Brewers Magic variety is an same because the Cubs.

The magic number is basically the number of Team A wins and/or Team B losses that must occur before Team A clinches a playoff spot.

The easiest way to calculate magic number is to subtract Team A's wins and Team B's losses from 163 (it must be 163 and not 162, as to clinch fully, you do not want to be tied with Team B).

A magic number cannot go up, as that would mean that either Team A has fewer wins or Team B has fewer losses than the last time the magic number was calculated.

The only miracle the whinny sux can do is try to keep guillen's mouth shut. and we all know that will never happen.

One thing I am very happy for:

the whinny sux aint going to the playoffs, and it's gonna be another 88 years inbetween world series wins for you southside crybabies.
