I think the "Chance" of a person having one isn't what you should worry about. The best advice that a person can give about such a thing is "play it safe." Abstinance and being in a monogamous relationship is a person's best bet.

With wide open sexual freedom, and folks failure to use proper protection, the chances are greater and greater each passing year!

Unlike animals humans were not made to have wide open sex and thus all the STD's! And those who disagree can do so all the way to the grave when their time comes!

Why is it humans have so many if this is not so!

AIDS is one STD to which there is no cure till date. It is not immediately lifethreatening but maximum survival is upto a period od 5 to 10 years with appropriate medication.
It reduces your immune status and makes you prone to even the rarest of infections. You do not die as a cause of it but due to some superimposed infection.

chances are high..we have a commercial here in texas that says most STD's are transmitted because the infecting person never knew they are sick. Its best to be tested often if you are sexually active and not using a condom. also..dont use lambskin ones--they do NOT protect against STD's
