Hi I think it is EPSON LQ 1050+DX Printer. If so, I guess you will find a driver for it in drivergudie.com but i'll tell u a simple method to install driver for it. Go to Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Printers and Other Hardware --> Add a Printer --> select local printer. uncheck automatically detect printer click next use LPT port click next. u'll be presented with a window. in the left pane (manufacturer) of the window select epson. in right pane (Printers) selecte epson compatible 24 pin. and proceed futher. it will install drivers. in case, it doesn't work. use epson compatible 9 pin. (but i think 24 pin works 100%).

The *best* option would be to get a new printer. You CANNOT install the XP driver and expect it to work. Won't happen. A way around it would be to find a compatible printer driver that came with Vista. For instance, I have an HP Photosmart 1000 printer which is not supported under Vista. However, the printer works with the Vista Deskjet 970Cse printer driver. Of course, it all depends.
