Most churches have singles nights. Also, you are still young enough, some churches would still consider you a youth and you could meet a nice girl that way. Have you tried getting involved in something - such as a sport (even bowling can be fun) or volunteering? You don't have to call attention to yourself, and you may find someone with whom you have interests in common that way.

Being in Singapore for 30 over years, I find that Singapore women are generally pretty, mature, well educated and friendly. So long you are sincere and not cheeky, they won't embarrass you at the public. Just approach with sincerity and confident.
