Hi. I have the A80 and the shots are nothing short of great. The A70 is similar without the fold out LCD screen. In Hi-res mode they are quite similar. The A70 has a max of 2048 x 1536.

The A70 is 3.1 mega-pixels. Here's the rest of the specs:
