yet the Christians I have known ---and I WAS previously a BAC (by their standards)..all think their way is the only way---and they are the ones who LIE the most, CHEAT the most, are prone to ANGER & SELFISHNESS the most, and use 'cut-throat-techniques' in business, on the highways, in the parking lots, EVERYWHERE. Yet, they still think that! I think they are above iit all & they're PHONEY! .

Any Christian or as you put it so-called Christian that places themselves in a stature of being considered higher and or better than anyone does not follow the teachings of the Savior they profess to follow. None of us are better than anyone.. in fact the word tells us that any righteousness that we have is through Jesus Christ not ourselves.
And when trying to determine whether someone your talking to is actually a Christian or simply claiming christianity... remember this... according to Gods word....
Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only [use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

It drives me crazy when Christians think they are so great. They are no better than anyone, and some of them are not as good as non-Christians.

But in my experience, a Christian is less likely to lie and cheat, etc than someone who is not religious. They are not less likely to lie and cheat than someone who is of another religion - I'd say all the religious people are about the same in that regard. And I'm also NOT saying that all non-religious people lie and cheat. I'm only really talking about the ones who have not given much thought to religion at all.

Their eyes are so closed, anyone else is below them. But they have already proven theirselves in these answers. I already see someone giving you bible verses in their answer. This proves how much of a brain they have and that they can't think or prove anything on their own. They look to the bible for any answer they need because they are not bright enough to use their own mind.

By the way, they are not all like you say. They do think they are doing the right thing and they do want good and peace for the most part. But ones you mention are there too and they are only out for theirselves and to make others feel bad about their selves.

Sorry you feel that way. I'm a catholic and far be it from me to feel superior to anyone just because of my religion. All christians are supposed to evangelize but I say; go your own way, do your own thing, believe what you choose to. Just know that there is only one GOD; the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, all 3 are the same. HE made the world, and all in it. Either you believe in HIM or you don't. HE gave people free will, and a mind to make choices. HE set down laws to live by. If you do so, you will live forever...Believing that does not make anyone better, just makes them smart enough to know the freedom of choice and that they chose the right one.............I believe in GOD, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth........GOD bless you........

I'm a Christian and I don't think I'm better than you or others. Christ died for everyone on Earth including me because we needed help escaping from the weight of our own sins. Everyone sins in some way including Christians - we all need help in this area. Why do you think Christians think we are better than you? Has someone said that to you or do you just think we feel this way? I can't answer for everyone that claims to be a Christian but I can answer for myself and I don't think I'm better or worse than you. However, please don't lump all people into one group and then judge them - that kind of sets you up like you think you're better than everyone else and can sit back and judge us all. That may not be what you mean but it looks that way from what you said.

If they are doing what you have described then they are not christians. No religion or faith should consider it self above another. If they believe in God or Allah or whatever they call as supreme power then it has to be only one whatever you call it. Commonsense suggests that there should be only one supreme power.

You sound like you have a lot of anger built up in you against Christians. Yes, some are liars and cheats and not to be trusted but that is true of any group of people. I am sorry that you have been hurt so badly to allow such hatred into your life.

I think we all hear lots of anger from YOU sweetheart.
You say you were born again christian (by their standards)
have you really thought this out?
and your idea of cut throat techniques on the free way and business-
So that is like saying aethiest are bad drivers on the freeway.
or buddist are bad business owners.
What does a persons religion have anything to do with how they drive or how they park or such?

Just calm down.
Pray for peace in your heart against the anger you are feeling.
Let's pray for her guys...
Dear Father-
Please cast out the spirit of anger in this girls heart. Bring her peace. Help her know she is not alone in this confusing world, that you are always with her.
In Jesus name
AMEN

It is sad. Take consolation in the fact that there is a judgment day and the consequence of willful sin is far greater than sin in ignorance of God's will.

rather a gross generalisation I think - that is unless you have known all the christians on earth personally?? It's is easy to stereotype but you can miss out on a lot of great relationships by pre-judging people you have not met yet which is a shame.

I am a christian and would never be so presumptuous to say I didn't like a whole cultural or religious group no matter what group they are. We are all individuals and it is sad that a few people have affected your view of christians so profoundly.
