At that time every country hated Jews. That is why they needed their own country. No Christian country wanted Jews in it. The reason there were so many Jews in Eastern Europe is because they were kicked out of France, England and Spain. But the ones from Spain went to Palestine and created Israel. But things are different now.

New York has more Jews than Israel. TV Guide chose the best and worse TV shows and both are Jewish Jerrys. Jerry Sienfeld and Jerry Springer. Governor of PA (Rendell) and US senator of PA (Arlen Specter) are Jewish. A high percentage of lawyers, doctors and scientists are Jewish even though the USA is less than 2% Jewish. There are more blacks, Asians or Hispanics in USA than Jews.

To answer that question would take a hundred psychologists and 1000 books. Many have pondered this question and tried to find the answer. Here is my opinion: After serving as a courier in World War 1, Hitler was left jobless and became a vagabond on the streets of his home, Vienna.(he was not German, but Austrian). His altimate ambition at that time was to become a painter. There are Hitler paintings in existence today, though they are very bad and mostly average landscape and building paintings. He failed at his greatest love and was rejected by the art community, which in his view was run by the Jews. To some degree this was true, the Vieanna Arts Acadamy that rejected his application for enrollment was run by a Jew.

So anyway, he wandered the streets of Vienna, just another war veteren and bum, abandoned by his governement. Of course he also blamed this on Jews, which he believed caused the collapse of Germany in the Great War and brought them to Versailles.

While wondering in search of food and a place to sleep, he would see the Jews in fancy clothes with their long beards, women at their sides. He likened them to animals with savage mating habits. He resented them for thier wealth and their women. After all, here was a man who fought for his adoped country and was left to starve on the streets of Vienna while the "Jews", who he saw as playing no part in the war except to end it, prospered.

He was approached after a year in the streets by one of his former commanders who had admired his patriotic rhetoric and anti semtic views in the trenches. This commander asked him to work for the government to infilitrate several radical groups that threatened the stabitlity of the current regime.

The first group he was sent to was the National Socialist Organization. Hitler was mesmerized by thier patriotic ferver when it seemed the rest of Germany had lost all hope. This group spoke of the "Master Race" and that it was not the Germans that lost the Great War but the Jews. The Jews were to blame. Hitler soon abandoned his position as government infiltrator and became the leader of this movement of 26 people.

He soon learned exactly what it was that the downtrodden German nation wanted to hear, the Germans who were forced into poverty by the treaty of Versailles, betrayed by their goverment. They wanted to hear that they were not to blame, that indeed they were the Master Race, meant to rule the world. They had not caused the German defeat, it was a "foreign cancer", the Jews. He learned that when people who had no hope were suddenly told they were Gods and were not at fault, they would follow him to the end of the earth, and beyond. And all he needed was a scapegoat, the Jews.

These were made easy scapegoats by their long beards and succesful businesses, success even after the Great War. The reason was of course a Jewish cospiricy.

Hate is an easy topic to sell, especially to those who are without hope, or feel persecuted. It has worked time after time throughout history, and will continue to do so.

It was written in the script. He was possessed, heard voices and saw devils or demons. He also it was believed to have had syphilis or a misdiagnosed intestinal disorder. Sorry I didn't read his book. Some might say the devil made him do it. Some just don't agree with the Jews being Gods chosen Since the Jews had such a high level of influence it was easier to blame them for the worlds problems and his own. He also hated the Poles. War propaganda.

He wanted to create and promote the perfect, Aryan race of blue-eyed, blonde haired people and "eliminate" all the others. Playing God, he was. Once people are labeled (i.e., enemy, Jew, etc.), instead of being respected and appreciated for who they are, people are dehumanized and become a "target." This is what is still being done today (in war, for example).

If there was a specific reason why he chose the Jews, we will never know. I have often wondered what would have happened if he had been accepted into art school, instead of being rejected. Even in his youth, he drew buildings as more important, than the people; strange perspective, strange man.

Probably he was just frustrated with Jewish and regreted being half Jews himself.

When someone is being rejected in his 'supposedly' group, he would definitely turn to others and might take revenge..

Because Hitler head of the the nazis blamed poverty, unemployment, and the loss of World War I all on the Jews. German woes were attributed to the effects of the Treaty of Versailles. In 1933, persecution of the Jews became active Nazi policy, but laws were not as rigorously obeyed and were not as devastating as in later years...........Hope this answers your question..........Flo
