It is so stupid that schools these days do what you said. It's freakin hair and if they think even with a natural color kids are not distracted by hair they are wrong. So retarded.
Anyways, do you like the way the black looks? Some people can't pull it off the way they want it to look but maybe try styling it better and it could work for you. I wouldnt keep buying stuff at the stores and doing it yourself because you may end up with a color that isnt in the rainbow, lol. Give it some time to wash out a little and see where it ends up. It will probably fade some here in the next two weeks. Good luck :)
P.S. If your school is SO concerned about every dumb little thing that goes on then maybe they should also care that you are being made fun of. Dont let it bother you, I know that is pretty much impossible but whenever someone says something tell them to go to hell and say is that goth enough for you?

First, You will have to get a heavy volume peroxide to strip the color from your hair. Once you have done that which will take at least 30 minutes, or longer, because you will want to strip the orange out of it, then get a very light color, don't use anything dark because it will absorb the stripped hair follicles and you will get another very dark color. Try a medium blond and be sure and apply a lot of conditioner after you have washed your hair. There are several leave-in conditions that work well. Do not color your hair when it is just washed. Wait about two days. ( I am talking about the whole process starting with the peroxide). Do a test strip on a piece of hair and wait about 10 minutes to see the results. It it looks like what you want, then continue applying. Go to a beauty supply house like Sally's and they will assist you in the proper way to color your hair. Good Luck.

color does not lift color... PERIOD... is a law of color theory
your only option is to bleach out the dye and then redeposit color
which is would NOT recommend since you have already dyed your hair a total of three times.
You NEED to seek professional help. A stylist could put lots of highlights to break up the black which would lighten up the all over appearance of the color but save some of the integrity of your hair.

well i am pretty sure you need to go to a hair stylist . but you can also go to a beauty supply store . you need to strip you hair ( that means strip all the color you put in out) there is stuff you can buy from beauty supply. ask the person behind the counter for help then buy a hair color you want (brown) also get a GOOD conditioning treatment becuse that stripper is not good for you hair and probably be ready to get your hair trimmed when your done.
doing all that stuff to your hair probably messed it up a little

Agreed, Go to a stylist if you HATE it.
I don't think you should give a **** what anyone else thinks.
I have my hair dyed black.
Do YOU like it? Or does it look stupid on you.
If you can't afford a stylist, you're going to need to bleach it no matter where you go.
Go buy bleach, then the brown hair color.
It might come out looking like mudd no matter what.
Or wash it 324982948 times. It WILL lighten.

Whoa this is like a double diss to my family... You got suspended for having red hair? My mom's a red head... and people teased you after you dyed your hair black? I have black hair... If you really don't like it go to a professional salon but otherwise just leave it. Don't listen to what other people say.

I would go to a beautician to have her lift the color. Doing it on your own, you could really mess your hair up. Take it from me - I've bleached my hair to the point where I had to have it cut off! It wasn't fun. So, spend some money and get it done properly, you won't regret it.
