1st off congrats from one military wife to another. I'm almost 18 weeks pregnant and I can hardly wait to see my little bundle of joy. My advice is to just tell him. It's not your fault, he will understand. :)

The very same thing happened to me. I got the same look from the guy that did my ultrasound just before he asked me if I had twins in my family and oh boy it looks like there may be two...hahaha.
I too was alone when I found out and had to break the news to my hubby. He was in NO WAY expecting twins because we already had two single births. I thought about it all day until he got home from work and I just blurted it out when he got home (and had a chance to sit down). I didn't know how else to tell him.
He was quite stunned at first, as I was, but then he warmed up to it and was rather excited about the whole thing.
You have right to be scared, I definately was! I think it is natural.
My twins (both boys) are now 2 yrs. old, they are a handful sometimes but all in all they are a blast.
Congratulations, enjoy those babies!

If this is your first pregnancy then be scared, but also be grateful that you have instant family and don't need to go through this again! I'm 10 wks pregnant and I think I'd be relieved if I was having twins, at least it would make sense as to why I've been so sick. Sorry enough about me. If you already have other children, then I can understand your worry. Things always work themselves out and you will get the support you need. Let him know how scared you are and start preparing now so things aren't such a strain in December. Good luck!

What? they missed the 2nd baby on the first ultrasound? Oh well, that must be a shocker. Maybe send him a printout showing him both of the babies and tell him you are actually doubly blessed.

you are scared because this was an unexpected shock. You will get over the shock and be happy. Your husband should be happy, too. Twins! I am happy for you.

First of all, congratulations! I can't believe they just determined that you are having twins, though! It's awful late in your pregnancy for that. Sorry, I have no ideas on how to tell him, but I had to congratulate you.
