That was about 10 years ago.
Maybe I can still do it now but never had the guts to do it.

Oh yes ! A buddy and myself were playing 4-wall handball in the university gym one time and when we finished I was so thirsty that I chugged 2 ice cold Cokes one after the other before I hardly drew a breath. I was so dry that I didn't even feel a brain- freeze. But when I did burp, I think it shook the whole gymnasium building. The geology department registered a minor earth tremor on their seismograph !

Of course ! It is possible to gulp down a whole can of coca-cola continously, specially on a hot day. I guess the carbonation would only make you feel bloated.

You can do it!! But, you have to be really really thirsty before attempting it. And as another person answered, the resulting belch will be phenomenal. In fact, I did it once, and I belched really loud, and my cat just happened to be nearby. She jumped about three feet off the ground when she heard me burp!! Then she hit the ground and took off running. Silly cat.

I've done it. It can hurt your throat and stomach, because the acid it contains can destroy the lining of your esophagos(not sure I spelt that right)and eventually cause acid reflux. It's probably not the best thing you could do, but it's possible.
