Doesn't it amaze you how some of these people can be so inhuman...so nanchalant about something like this? And they call themselves "compassionate conservatives"! What compassion?

proud_2ba...listen, I picked that video because it had a good feel and said exactly the same thing as every singe bit of information that I could find about DU. It is nasty. It has been both internationall and withing the US illegal since '96 because it's so nasty. The UN labeled it as WMD. Do some research, and you will find the same thing I found. It's nasty. Nastier than normal nulear weapons, because it's not instant kill in a pinpointed area. It's unpredictable (weather patterns) and slow acting. Over the course of the next few generations, the vast majority of the people over there will either die, or only have morbidly mutated, non-viable babies, until the whole area, practically the whole race, will be extinct.

I've thought about the ramifications. A lot. Personally, I am willing to give up my life for democracy. Democracy can only happen with an informed populace. If the populace is not informed, then they don't know what they are voting for. If they don't know what they are voting for, it's not a democracy, but a sham. Do you disagree proud_2b? If the people in this country stand up and make things right, people will likely get hurt. Fascist States get really trigger-happy at the thought of regime change. We have a pretty trigger-happy guy in there as it is. This needs to stop! We need to take our country back from these fascist warmongerers! I never thought anyone would ever beat Stalin for atrocities...looks like over time, this guy beats him.

They deny it's harmful because they know the proof won't be released from the actual blocked government studies for years, long after they leave office. When that happens, everyone willl call it a tragedy, the federal government will be sued and the taxpayers will pay the settlements. No one will be held accountable.

Yes, I will still support President Bush in the War on Terror.
I had put together a response while visiting your other thread related to this one. The one where your link was broken. Since I couldn't pinpoint which video you were attempting to point us to I went to the mainpage for ericblumrich.com and tried to find the video. While there I viewed many of the video clips. I had not viewed this one though. It is disturbing to say the least. Something became very clear to me though.
Questions for you... Why aren't human rights organizations around the world all over this? Why are we not hearing one word about the outrage information like this should incite? Could it be that this video may not be factually correct? I mean *if* this video is true it would bring a screeching halt to everything American around the world. Game, set, match... If it were infact true. Doesn't it make you wonder if it is?
Do you have any idea the ramifications of displaying a link to a video like this *will* do? Any? Do you realize if this video (which is entirely possible that it is propaganda) gets into the wrong hands and succeeds in inciting outrage in the MiddleEast the price our men and women in uniform will pay? You think that the backlash of what happened at Abu Guhraib was bad? The backlash our men and women have had to endure will seem like a walk in the park compared to this. Do you realize what you have just potentially done? Do you even care or are you sitting there with a smirk on your face proud of yourself for *sticking it to Bush and his cronies*?
Can you corwynwulfhund absolutely with no question confirm that the clip to the video you supplied the link to is absolutely true? You can't. But because it sends out a message that you WANT to be true you will use it to reach a goal. How dare you.
You even have the gall to insert little witty responses. This is a game to you and you are one sick individual to be playing it. Perhaps you should have done a bit of research about depleted uranium prior to so proudly authoring this thread.... It's obvious eric blumrich had no intention of giving you all the facts in his little video..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depleted_uranium
As for the other video clips on that website...
First, can we agree that the video clips on that website were created for the shock value that they would incite?
Second, can we agree that the video clips on that website were created displaying the war from one viewpoint not displaying alternate viewpoints?
There are numerous video clips showing blood and guts. The webmaster of the site would have us all believe that the blood and guts that we are viewing is the direct responsibility of the Bush Administration. You can't do that. Were all those killed or injured by Coalition soldiers or is it possible they were killed or injured by insurgents? Were those laying on gurneys in the videos laying on gurneys in Coalition field hospitals being attended to with the support of Coalition doctors or laying on gurneys supplied by insurgents inside terrorist funded hospitals? My guess would be Coalition funded hospitals. I highly doubt the insurgents do anything to help those who are injured in the attacks they initiate.
War is not black and white. It is gray at best, it is not fair and it is ugly, very ugly.
I am sure there were those in the video's that were injured or killed by Coalition soldiers. That is regrettable probably most by the soldiers directly involved. How many insurgents have regrets for the loss of life they have perpetrated against the innocent? You question the compassion of Republicans. How much compassion has the insurgency shown? Where is your compassion for those who suffered and died under the regime of Saddam Hussein? Were we right as a compassionate people to end the suffering of those who would have undoubtedly been Saddam's future victims?
I've checked out several of your other questions and you seem like someone looking for something resembling the truth. Unfortuantely you are only looking for one truth. The one that suits your agenda. Unfortunately for everyone your one truth in this case may cause damage that even you can't comprehend. You will dismiss what I am saying to you without giving one thought that what I am saying may actually have merit. I've come to expect it from people like you.

Yes I do. In fact, it was President Clinton that increased the large number of DU ammunition and weapons that the US military uses.
DU saves lives when tanks are made of them, and contrary to the lies that this, and many other liberal websites, DU is exactly what it states DEPLETED. It has no radioactivity in it. It is teh hardest substance known to man, therefore tank crews survive and are able to destroy all enemy tanks.
Before all of you start hating the President, do your own research using non-biased sources.
Clinton involved us in Bosnia, murdered tens of thousands of Serbians in a bombing attack that lasted 96 hours. He ordered the destruction of a pharmaceutical factory that "was producing WMDs." Turns out it was producing children's aspirin and "flawed intelligence' (never heard that before) led to the deaths of thousands of factory workers. That further led to anger the Islamic population against America. Look at the hatred bred through Al-Qaeda, starting in 1992...Clinton's administration.
Grow up, wisen up, stop being brainwashed.
