Dogs are not human. Before they receive love and affection, they need exercise, discipline, and leadership.
Don’t expect more from your dog than you do from your own children. Dogs need discipline too. Give them rules, boundaries, and limitations.
Avoid nurturing your dog’s fears and anxieties. Do not nurture or encourage unwanted behavior. Only give affection when your dog is calm and submissive.
Exercise your dog every day. Dedicate at least 45 minutes to walking your dog everyday so he can use his energy in a positive way.
Dogs follow dominant leaders, NOT lovable or emotional leaders. Dominance and aggression are NOT the same thing. Happiness and excitement are not the same thing. Only show affection when your dog is in a calm state of mind.
Dominant dogs don’t share, they claim. As the dominant Leader, you own everything, including the house, bed, couch, toys, food, and car.
If your dogs jumps on you and you allow it, that makes you a follower. If your dog growls at you and you allow it, that also makes you a follower.
Dogs should not touch you with their mouths. It is a dominant behavior and shows disrespect.
You are the source of a dog’s energy. You are his role model. The energy you project is the energy you send to your dog. If you are confident, he’ll be confident. If you are fearful, he’ll be fearful.
Dogs move on. Dogs live in the moment; only humans live in the past and future. A rescued dog will only rehabilitate and become balanced when his Pack Leader (you) lives in the moment.

I know people that swear by the bark collar.its a censor that detects the dogs bark and gives off a light shock. it doesn't take the dog long to get the point .
