Its ok, let me tell you a joke to make you feel better.
And it goes:
>How I was born<
A little boy goes to his father and asks, "Daddy, will you tell me
how I was born?"
-The father debates answering, but finally says: "Well, I guess one day you will need to know anyway."
"Your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo. I set up a date via e-mail and we met at a cybercafe.
-We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive. "But when I was ready to upload and she was ready to download, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall and it was too late to hit the delete or escape button.
-"So nine months later a blessed little pop-up appeared that read, 'You've Got Male!"
One more joke:
A guy calls his vet and says "What should I do with my cat?Vet says "What do you mean? Guy says "I had a leak in my lawnmowers gas tank and the cat drank the gas. Then the cat began to run around and around the yard, climbed a tree. then fell out of the tree stiff. Vet says "Is the cat dead? Guy replies "nope he ran out of gas.

Yeah... I know..it kinda hurts doesn't it ? I answered a question about what would happen in the last Harry Potter novel by joking and saying that due to his age he would probably start smoking dope and get a tattoo. It actually got Best Answer. Someone reported it as a violation to offend others. I never got a reply from yahoo when I challenged this. It's abig old world and I guess just about anything you say is likely to offend someone. Law of averages, I guess.

I had an answer violation once, because I was calling out one of the companies that was advertising their garbage here with a faked question and answer. I told them it was crap and I got a violation email the next morning.

Join the club, it happened to me as well. Sometimes you have these overly sensitive people asking questions and they can be pretty naive to think that they're going to get only favorable answers. If you ask a bunch of strangers for their opinions, you should expect to get some not so nice responses. Personally I am often amused by some of the responses I get.

There are some nasty people out there who seem to enjoy doing spiteful things, maybe the way that violations and abuse reports are posted is too easy, that should be changed, any ideas?

I asked for engraving ideas for a tankard and the question was removed. Make sense of that.
Then you see absolute rubbish with blatant swearing and violence still being answered.

Don't sweat it. I've had several for stupid things. It's not like it's personal or anything.

Please get a grip. Ask the question again and just re-word it. It's yahoo questions and answers not a death in the family.
