My hair is fine, straight and about shoulder-length with some long layers. Whenever I sleep on it wet, it looks so disastrous that even a ponytail somehow looks bad. If I try putting it up in a bun to sleep, it gets kind of strangely frizzy.

I'm wondering if there's an easy method or product or ANYTHING to make decent morning hair a possibility when showering at night and wanting to skip the blow-dry.

I know what you mean. What I usually do is tie my hair in a low, loose ponytail. And in the morning I brush it all out and either use straightening cream like Pantene

or Glass Shine from Loreal

I like using the Glass Shine to make my hair shiny and less frizzy, it makes it nice and smoothe.

I like to braid my long hair when it's wet and wear it wavy the next day. Saves time the next morning and is less damaging from the hot blow dryer.

If I want it straight the next day I will put it in a bun and then blow it dry in the morning since it's still damp.

There is not any way to my knowledge. I do know that if you sleep with a wet head, you hair will smell sour the next morning if you have really long hair.

id say braid it in about 4 sections.it will give your hair a slight crimp in the morning or wrap it and put a silk scarf around it for the strait look

Ditto on the first whole paragraph. I use a straightener or put cream in my hair in the morning. Don't use gel, it makes your hair what i call "crispy". Good luck!

shave your head....it saves on shampoo and you can toss the blow dryer.
