Depends what's causing your headache. Couple things to try:
1. Plenty of water (though this is better for prevention than cure).
2. Persistant dull headaches can be caused by tension in the muscles running from the back of your head down the top of your shoulders. My chiropractor taught me how to relieve such headaches: Sit up straight in a straight-backed chair. Reach the left arm behind you and take hold of the left chair leg. Turn your head 90 degrees to the left. With your right arm, still sitting up straight and facing left, gently pull your head diagonally away from your left shoulder to gently stretch the muscle. Repeat for other side.
3. This may not help you tonight, but I find a dash of taurine powder disolved in water helps boost the paracetamol (it's a calcium channel blocker, like many migraine medicines). You can get a bottle of taurine in powder or tablets fairly cheaply from a vitamin supplier. I like the powder because it's fast-acting and cheap. (I take it daily as a supplement for other reasons - it's what the body uses to manufacture CoQ-10, which is getting so much good press lately but costs an arm and a leg).
4. This is a bizarre one but sometimes helps: with the pads of your thumbs, pull gently up and out on the top of your eye sockets (!) like you're trying to stretch out the socket a bit. Ok, weird, I know. Use with care, if at all. I think it relieves some pressure in the sinuses perhaps? If you do it right you do feel a bit of release.
Good luck!

Dehydrated? Maybe you need to drink more water?
Got enough sleep? Maybe a little nap? Eyestrain? How long have you been on the computer for? Try resting your eyes.
You could also try massaging your temples. I'm sorry. :(
Maybe it is hormonal, in that case it will linger.
Same with the water. If it's caused by dehydration it won't go away until you are properly rehydrated.

I always rely on good old aspirin. If I think its a sinus headache I add honey-lemon Halls cough drops to help clear the sinuses.
If the headache isn't caused by having too much caffeine, have a cup of coffee or tea too. (The pain-reliever, Anacin, is aspirin with caffeine; and I always found that worked better than anything.) Its just that store-brand aspirin and a cup of tea or coffee is cheaper.

Turn off the computer, tv, and lights. Lie down somewhere comfortable and close your eyes.
If that doesn't work, drink a few glasses of water, or eat. You may be dehydrated, or your blood sugar is low.

I've read that drinking Poweraid or Gateraid will help. It is even better than asprine or headache pills. There is something to do with the stuff in the Poweraid/Gateraid that the body needs that makes them go away.
I have not tried it. My headaches are all cause of the caffine withdrawls I go threw cause I'm trying to cut out the caffine in my diet and I just break down and go and get a pepsi.
