Would you want a man that ony wanted you because you were beautiful? I wouldn't.
And yes, women "objectify" (as you put it) men as well. Women have high expectations of what they want in a man. Maybe it is a good provider, or something just as vain as wanting someone good looking or muscle bound.
Just like not all men want their woman to be beautiful not all women want their men to be muscle bound.
However, we all do have certain criteria we find attractive in a mate.
Funny thing is, many people find themselves falling in love with somene that didn't meet most if any of those qualifications they thought was important. Yet they are very happy.
Just be yourself, everyone wants to be attractive in one way or the other but it really is what's in the inside that counts and anyone worth having will take the time to learn about who you are on the inside. If they don't... then they probably weren't good for you in the first place.

Guys would give their right arm to be objectified. It's a compliment even though it's to the extreme. Put yourself in a man's position. Most men spend their entire lives not being approached by one woman. Not being appreciated or anything. Sweetheart, women have their issues for sure, but a guys life can be total sh**. Look at both sides of the coin.

The same demands are placed on men too. You ladies like to look at Brad Pitt's *** too. Women can be just as shallow as a man when it comes to picking and choosing based on looks. You do the same too. You won't date anyone that you do not feel is physically attractive and neither should anyone else.
Just remember, one person's dog is another person's babe.
Thought of the day. The people who seem to gripe about getting rejected the most do their fair share of rejected.

If you don't like being objectified then why do you use a name like "BerrySexyGurl"? I don't even know you and the first thing I learned about you is that you're a "sexy gurl". I rarely feel objectified and it would never occur to me to present myself as a sexy girl to complete strangers even on the internet; my plain old first name is good enough to use here.

It all goes back to males proving their alpha-male status to the other males. So all men want to show the other men that they are manly men. How do they do this? Quite simple. Get a beautiful trophy to show off. How does a man get a trophy, well he works to getting the things that will attract a very beautiful woman at his side so he can show her off to his buddies. Then they all tell him things like "wow, she is really hot, you da man!" or "Way to go man! You really scored, she is fine!"

We may not have the pressure to be beautiful, but we do have the pressure to have lots of money, a nice house, a big car.

It goes full circle, your a fool if you don't belive it, women want hot guys who are rebels and badasses but they can always change into being sweet for them, they also want them to pamper them and treat them like royalty, personally Itry not to bother with women like that and you shouldn't bother with guys like that either.
