Hmmm very touching. Actually the voice this gentle man heard was right. "My son, you are on the right path." And indeed he was until the Satan the rejected told him to get away from Islam and join Christianity. God has sent His teachings and the latest teaching is Quran and this person believes on Quran's teachings, that is why he knows that we have to believe in all the prophets and all the books (etc). Now it does not mean that you leave the latest teaching Quran, which tells you about the Christian faith.
All the faiths on earth alter by the passage of time. For example people of the time think that Islam was spread through sword, which is totally wrong allegation on Islam. So as Jesus was son of God is wrong allegation on Jesus. Read last verses of Al-Maida (5:116).
There is no doubt that Jesus was a true messenger of God, but there is no doubt in it either that Muhammad was a true messenger of God. So I would say the the latest teaching from God should be followed.

What can i say here i think he is not a true muslim. A true muslim wouldn't said that and even never think about that. Have he ever read or study the real injeel? Even between the bible also so many version, how he know the real bible? If he look the bible in US and bible in Italy or any part of Europe, have many differences. I not blame the bible but if he really want to know he should study make more research. It's really sad this muslim have this feeling (uncertain)! May God bless him!! If he was a true Muslim, he wouldn't do that. If he knew the proper faith of the oneness of God, he wouldn't accept Jesus as the same as God, or closer to God.
Moreover, there is no proof that it really happened. There is no big talk that a guy named Mohd. Saleem turned into Christianity. Anyway, if the guy really turned his back on Islam, I'd feel sorry for him. But I think it's his fate, and it's his decision. He has the right to choose a religion.

well-- it was his choice. there honestly is no reasoning for anyone to fret over it. It was his own choice and destination- Blessed Be to him!
mMy entire family is Presbyterian- and i am a Bisexual Wiccan- with which they accepted me because it's not right to exile your child just because she has chosen a different path.
In my opinion- more people need to believe this way: "if someone loves you nough- they will care for you nomatter what your choices are."
The man made a choice based on what was told and shown him. Some would say he was "saved" by Jesus-- wile others- like me- just believe that he made a choice based on his own personal beliefs.

This is sad, sad indeed. He has lost the true faith. I know you believe he has found the right path though and that is your right. We will all stand before God on judgment day and then things will be set straight. Hell or Paradise awaits us all.
