try pepto or imodium. Your dog had been stressed, new home, surgery, new food. It could be stress. Cook up some white rice and mix it in your pup's food. It is constipating
Find a vet, bring the poop, have the vet give the dog a physical and check for parasites.
Do this as soon as possible.

Poor dog. She's been thru alot in the past few days which could be the sole cause of the diarrhea. It's fairly common for dogs to not have much of an appetite after surgery for a few days. But she is eating and drinking so that's good. But if I were you I'd still get her into YOUR VET asap to make certain she has'nt picked up anything from the pound or came to them already infected with something.Better safe than sorry.
If nothing else comes from the visit your dog has at least been introduced to the 2nd most important person in her life.So you've not wasted a trip.

Are you sure she is just 10 months OLD? CALL THE VET IMMEDIATELY IF NOT SOONER - it may not be diarrhea - but internal bleeding!!!!!!!! I have raised many many dogs (all "fixed") and have never had this problem. Call your VET on Monday ASAP - do not call the VET that did the surgery - maybe he's not that good?

Well the truth is when you get a pet from a shelter they could have picked anything up from such a place. Sometimes it would show up for a while. My advice is please take her back to the vet, cause there are alot of things she could have wrong with having diarrhea. That is very dangerous for a young pup to have diarrhea like that.....Bec

I hate giving this answer, but here it goes again. I would take her to the vet and have her checked out. If she is not really eating, something could be wrong. Go to a new vet, not the one from the pound - one you plan on using. If you don't have one, please get recommendations from friends!

Could just be a change in the diet. As long as its not accompanied by vomiting, its most likely not a huge deal. When there is vomiting, there could be a larger problem, such as acid reflux or equivalant. Give her a few more days to see if it is the diet thing. If things don't improve, see a vet.

Please find out what vaccinations (if any) the pound gave her.
She may have any sort of disease or parasite, like worms, or parvo.
Take her to the vet if she does not eat normally within a week, or srops weight suddenly. It may be as simple as her getting used to new dog food, and stress, or it can be something serious.

Hun, i think you should make an appointment with your vet... not the one you were just at to get her fixed..... she is 10months old and is very much a pup and she needs the correct amount of food.. if she not eating something is wrong..... call your vet...
