Nobody's arguing freedom of speech. It's probably in your confrontational tone. After all, if you post a question like the above, atheists also have the freedom of speech to reply. Especially since that's the point. You ask questions, other people reply. If you direct questions at atheists, you're likely to have atheists respond. If you say things like "Don't get mad at me because you made the wrong choice!" that tends to rankle people a bit. The same way you get mad when atheists say your god is just a fairy tale. Of course some christians and some atheists are always going to post nasty things about each other just out of the mutual acrimony that's flourishing on this site.

I have freedom of speech as much as you do, so I can say that you are unwise if I like. I didn't make the wrong choice. You did. My sister gives her church $50 a month. How much do you give? I am free to use that money on myself and my gal, rather than buying preachers new suits and cars. Tell God when you see him that I have some complaints about his not being so good to my brother who believed in him. God was much better to me and I don't believe in God.

Ah... we made the "wrong choice." That's nice. We might say the same thing of you, my friend. I don't get mad when someone says God is Good... more power to you.
Pray for me, hold a seance, make a prayer circle, do an exorcism, whatever you feel you have to do.
Just don't insist that i believe what you believe (I'm not doing that to you) or pass laws making me pray to your god (you know, like the Pledge of Allegiance) and we'll get along just fine.

I am not angry at you for saying God is Good but it does make me angry to hear that you think we made the wrong choice. My parents are Christian and I never really liked the religion. Sure, they tried to punish me for it but I just don't understand it. I need proof. We could easily say you made the wrong choice for being religious but I don't. Don't say unnecessary things that hurt people.

People get angry because you force your beliefs on everyone else. I too have free speech and yet I would never tell you that your faith is wrong...so do the same and allow people to believe what they want to without praying for them or blessing them...you try to teach understanding and forgiveness yet you have no tolerance for anyone who feels differently than you do.

As your Christian sister, may I say that your writing style and manner of speaking is a turn off to most non-believers.
If you have a true question about atheists, ask it seriously, with as much information as you can, and without insulting them.
As you can see by the many replies here, you will only justify their way of thinking and make stronger their rejection of God.
My question to atheists would be: why are you trolling the religion and spirituality category and picking such easy targets? A real debate could be interesting and enlightening.

You have every right to believe in what you want. But ppl dont want you to shove your opinion down their throat. And by the way just because a person does not believe in your God or any other religion does not make them an atheist. There is such a thing as an AGNOSTIC.

I have not gotten angry at you. And yes, you have the right to say something, but that doesn't make what you say true. I could say that I have a pet Pegasus, but is that true? No. I do not believe I made the wrong choice.

If you ask questions in an ignorant and confrontational way, you shouldn't get all defensive when people point out how stupid you sound.
Freedom of speech works both ways--something that radical Christians like yourself seem to deliberately misundertand.

You are delusional if you think that just because you have the freedom of speech, that what you say is true. Flap all you want, it doesn't mean a thing.
