Sure,they are eaten in the south all the time. San Antonio,Florida used to have an annual rattlesnake round-up festival ( might still have it ) and they cook'em up and eat them after the prizes are given out. I hear it tastes like CHICKEN!

Not a problem with eating snake. I hear that it it very good roasted, but, you probably would need an affinity for amphibian flesh, like frog,as well.
Caviar is fish roe, which is the unfertilized eggs of fish taken from the belly of the female fish.

My roommate's mom (she's Chinese) sent her a joke the other day: "If Adam and Eve had been Chinese, we'd still be in paradise - Eve would have ignored the apple and eaten the snake." :)
I'd rather not eat snakes, though, personally - yech! I guess it's all a matter of what you grow up on.

I fear to think of what I'd eat if it were the only thing to eat. Snake? In a heartbeat. At least you know that they are actually eaten and considered a delicasy in many places. The worms, raw, would be much harder for me.

I have eaten rattlesnake but i don't know how to cook it. I bet I'd figure it out pretty quick if i were starving though. Caviar is fish eggs.

Well if you were Aboriginal you would because thats all there is to eat in some places. Have you tried Kangaroo or wombat? What about Escargot(snails) or frogs legs. Mouth watering!
