my son is allergic to tide and has a rash all over his body, how long will he have it and is there anything i can give him to help it go away faster?

Try bathing him in an oatmeal bath additive. Aveno is what we have in the States for this. Benedryl for temporary relief. As soon as you can, rewash ALL of his clothing in a liquid detergent that is perfume free and dye free. I like All. I used to use Wisk, but they stopped making a perfume and dye free formula. I have used Arm and Hammer, but, I found out that it didn't get the clothes very clean by itself.

By the way, Tide is the worst of all the detergents for allergens. 20/20 hindsight.

that is very interesting. i am alergic to almost all detergents exept tide free. well my rash went away in about 2 week w/ all my cloths washed in hot water and low amounts of tide free

Not sure how long it will last but you can rub benadryl cream on it and it will help with the itching and speed up the healing.

YOU should wash him in clear water for several days. Rince his clothes several times too. ANd buy IVORY it milder soap.RINCE it twice also.
