Be a good example. People are watching you and you are representing Christ.
One time, I was not charged for something that I bought at a store. I went back in, showed the receipt and asked the clerk to please charge me for the one item she overlooked. To say she was stunned was an understatement. She asked me why I came back to pay for the item when I could have easily gotten away without paying for it. I replied that I was a Christian and it was the right thing to do.
I did not bash her over the head with my Bible, or start preaching fire and brimstone. Just the simple act of doing the right thing can make a difference to someone.
Of course, if you are asked, be sure to be able to give an account for why you believe. If you are stumped and need to think about an answer, tell the person just that. They will respect someone who takes the time to get the answer right, rather than just "I don't know", or "that's just what I believe" The Bible says be ready to give an account for your beliefs.

I agree with many of the other posts, "Be a good example." Show you care and have the heart to tell them that what you believe. Be patient and if the time is right, say something. If you're living right the opportunity will come more often as people see a difference in your nature and ability to nurture. People have an a built-in instinct to understand the importance of nurture and gravitate to those who actually care and are friendly outgoing people.

Ideally you are living in such a way that they will ask you, because you are an example of love, joy, peace, patience, etc. in your workplace. If you are being real with them, they'll know you believe in God. And if you truly care about them, they'll start to figure out why. I think the caring part is the best way -- offer to pray for them if they're going through something (and if you're really going to do it!). People hardly ever refuse prayer, even if they aren't sure about God they figure it can't hurt.
I'm not a big fan of approaching strangers and telling them they need God -- it's usually a turn-off. How can we have credibility if we don't really know them? But certainly praying about it is the best way to know how to proceed there, if you really feel like you are supposed to approach a stranger.

By your actions first. Then make sure you are close to God and are prepared to answer any question that they might throw at you. If I want to know what a person is made of I usually ask them," If you passed away today what would happen to you?" If their answer is,"Well I'd go home with Jesus because I've accepted Him as my Lord and Savior". Then I'd think that they were spiritually OK. If they answered anything else like, "Well I 'think' I'd go to heaven...I hope", or any answer like that then I would know that they were unsure of their salvation. If you are not close enough or strong enough or whatever enough, then don't get down on yourself and give up....just invite them to your church or someplace like the place you were at when you first accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Pray, fellowship and read the Bible......these are the three things that get us started in having a close relationship with God. I am by no means a good or great Christian but God has chosen me and He is able to complete me, God knows me, and I want Him to know me forever.

People are ministered most strongly by what they can see with thier own eyes. Remember we are humans and we all want to see to believe. So, walk the walk and talk the talk. just remember what is first there. You must show people what a good christian is.
My mom came to me after I got saved, she is not christian, and told me there was a peace and stillness about me she had never seen. She has since started talking slowly about religion with me, and things are changing. But without seeing a change in me, she may have never budged.

I personally follow the wisdom of St. Francis of Assisi:
"Preach the Gospel at all time. If necessary, use words."
People react to actions more often than mere words. Live a life that you would be proud to present to God and others will be touched by your example.

Let God speak to your heart thru his word and make sure that God wants you to. Speaking to someone without God preparing the heart of the one who's soul needs saving could be dangerous and probably be unfruitful. Just trust God and he will show you how, when, and where.

That could be considered extremely rude, and you won't be very popular if you attempt to tell others about some sort of imaginary being. Whether you want to be unpopular and considered a bigot is entirely up to you.

First get their attention by wearing a button or t-shirt that reads "God makes nice and forgiving people out of rotten apples". Post that message everywhere around your work area. When they ask or make a comment about that message, you can tell them about God.
