First you said ANY character, then when I came to give my fave, you put a limit on it. Do I have to choose between your two options? ;o)

im a girl, so i wouldnt be able to choose between barabbas or ishmael. instead, i'd choose mary. she was a virgin when she had Jesus and everyone praised her for the person that she was, and she never gave up on her son. she also died in a deep sleep - probably the best way to die because you dont have to suffer through all the pain. mary had done her fair share of suffering in her life. can you imagine what people would have first seen mary as, they wouldnt have believed that Jesus is God's son and she would have bn called a lot of names, and then the time when Jesus was put to death, it was because the people didnt believe that he was the son of God, the Messiah, the chosen one. the betrayal by the people, high priests (who convinced the people that jesus couldnt possibly be the son of God), and the one who sentenced his death, Pontius Pilate, imagine how she would have felt towards that? i think it would still be good to be her, and her beauty and good character really defined her as a human being, which is something that i would want myself in a way. on the plus side, Jesus would be looking up to me.

Of any character I choose, I would say Dorcas/Tabitha. I don't want to be any man, Barabbas or Ishmael.

I was going to say God, but I see that you have narrowed the field a bit.
I am going to say Ishmael is a good fit for me, because I am like a wild *** and all hands are turned against me.

Did you mean "any" or did you mean choose from your two options?

Now that I think about it, I'm really, really happy to live in the here and now. I don't do well without air conditioning. I can't decide. I'm a spoiled American.
