You do not get to choose what you want to wear at work.
You have to do laundry more often because you do not own many items of the uniform.
Some uniforms look awful (Hot Dog on a Stick, for example) and are embarrassing.

- people in uniform get typecasted.
Example: These policemen they are all the same
- Mostly people when dealing with someone in uniform do not see the person behind the uniform, they just end up seeing the role that uniform signifies.
- Uniform always comes with certain do's & don'ts, therefore restricts expresson

1) It directs criticism to more areas like weight, intelligence, race etc.
2) I know others have answered this but it is a valid point, you lose individuality when you put people in uniforms.
3) Having people wear uniforms actually points out "class" difference. Those who can't afford nice uniforms won't have them and those who can afford them will have them.
