“In the Bible it is written; “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one can come unto the Father but by me.”

“I am the way” – namely, there is no other way but thine own way, revealed to thyself in the clarity that comes from deep, internal wounding, then examined carefully by self.”

“I am the truth” – namely, there is no other truth, save for the light within.

“I am the life” – namely, there is no greater life than that which comes inherently from understanding this depth of communion with the truest nature of oneself.”

“No one can come unto the Father but by me” – namely, that there is no other path to Self-perfection and achievement of enlightenment but by grasping and aligning with those forces coalescing within self, then represented by said Christ Light.”

Jesus showed the way of how one goes about becoming ONE with GOD, returning to a state of oneness, unity and divinity within oneself and all beings, especially God. Jesus showed through his actions that one can manifest healing and other transformations of the physical by tapping into the oneness that we all possess. Jesus even said that we can do as he did and more.

By following the example lead by Jesus, we can all return to a state of oneness and unity with God, spirit and all that is. Learning to be forgiving, compassionate and unconditionally loving of all returns us to a state of grace and peace. In that way, Jesus showed the way, we just have to follow with our hearts and not our heads. The path is there, who will follow the light within?

Gosh, I was just reading the bible, too, and at about matthew 10:34, I ran across this:
I come not bearing peace, but a sword
I have come to set brother against brother and father against son.

I think it means: Prince of piece, my Patoot!

Enlightening, indeed. Now, if only we can get the religions to see! The way the truth and the light... To be like "Him". He said we can.... okay... I believe him. I can do and be all the things Jesus did and was. Fabulous! Where do I sign up for the REAL Christian church? The one that celebrates the god within me?

This is grasping. God is not about self-perfection and achievement of enlightenment. He teaches us to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow him. This sounds like a very humanist, new-age perspective to me, that completely ignores our need for God the Father (when the verse centers around this very need). I think it's crazy anyone can draw this nonsense out of a very straightforward verse.
