Even on this subject when they have no religion? I mean it's called "Religion and Spirtuality" why don't you get your own category---"Hell bound"? If you have no religion why do you say "oh my Goodness" or "Oh Lord" when you stomp your toe, or hurt yourself. Or even "My Goodness" come on. Someone really stupid led you one and you belived it. How dumb is that? One day you will lift up your eyes and realize that you have just been waisting your time.

Really this is an interesting thought to ponder. Though I think with all the “hell bound” comments, you were asking for trouble.

To Kakapobirdthing: From your answer How do you know when you have been good enough? If you could tell me positively, I would convert. But what if you (or I) missed it by one good deed that we didn't do because we were to tired or didn't have the time to help. What the “hell bound”?

I must say that is why I choose Jesus Christ and his blood covers all my sins, so that when the person who judges who goes to heaven and who go to the other place looks at me, all he sees is the covering of his sons blood. And who could send their own son to hell?

The category is "Society & Culture > Religion & Sprituality". No where does it say "Christians only", or even "Theists only". I live in the U.S. and I am affected by my society & culture, which I think is already overly religious, and seems to be on a course to becoming a theocracy.

I support the U.S. Constitution's guarantee of religious freedom and the separation of church and state. If Christians come back to their senses and realize that being in the majority does not give them the right to dictate policy that favors their religion, then I'll probably lose interest and leave.

I hope that one day you will lift up your eyes and see the giant f*cking sledgehammer coming at your face while some guy across the street films it. You're so offensive it doesn't even make sense. Atheists discuss their religious views and defend their side in philosophical debates here.

And I'm not atheist, but when I stub my toe, I NEVER say "Oh my goodness" (which has nothing to do with religion anyway o.O) or "Oh Lord." It's always, "Ow, F*CK!" or "MotherF*CKER!"

Have to say it's people like you that cause a lot of fear and terror in this world withtheir view that the way they worship god is the only true way. You make me sick. You are the most intolerant person. Plus surly harbouring what can only be described as hate for Aethiest (How about Muslims, Hindis, Wiccans) will not get you into heaven isn't god all about forgiveness and aceptability?

Ok, this old favorite.

Just so you know, I'm an Agnostic, not an Atheist, but since most Christians don't know the difference, I'll go ahead and assume that this was directed at me as well.

Number one, I don't tend to say "Oh my goodness" or "Oh lord" when I stub my toe. I say "FU*CK!" or "Shitshitshit..."

Number two, Atheists are on this forum because there is a little thing called freedom of speech. In a country that is trying more and more to force religious doctrine on us through its laws, we have a right to stand up for ourselves and let our voices be heard. We have just as much right and reason to be here as you, little missy.

Enough with the Christian-Fanatics let us now look at what the secular fanatics have been up to. The shadow education secretary, David Cameron of the Conservative party compared Islamic extremist, meaning those who adhere to Islamic teachings, to the Nazis. I did not realise Muslims adhered to such European traditions as Nazism, was it not invented and practiced in Europe. Why the constant cry about the Muslims not integrating then?

To the wiccans out there who commented on this page... HELL YES!! oops, i'm sorry... i didnt mean to use a "christian term." ... just remember... my goddess gave birth to your god. without the PRECHRISTIAN religions such as druidism, there wouldnt be HALF the traditions that christianity have. EX: christmas... not REALLY the time of "christ's birth"... the bible even mentions a time around spring, not winter... its really to cover up the pagan traditions around those times. Why are christians the ONLY religious group to stomp on EVERYONE ELSE!? i DO have to give credit... not ALLL christians are like this. just people like this guy....

blessed be

They say that Christians are bible thumpers but they know more about the bible than most Christians do so who's the Bible Thumper Now? They say that they don't believe in myths and imaginary gods but that's all they seem to talk about so who's imagining things again or who is crazy Now? They ask more God questions than Christians do but yet again don't want to be converted so they come to a R/S forum. Go figure! Somebody need to call the people in the white coats because these nutters are mentally unstable and confused.
