With the argument of christianity versus atheism, are we all way off base? I'm an atheist, but with the infinite amount of possibilities we could all be completely wrong. Who here is really justified to say I am right? Shouldn't we say, I believe, but who knows?

I will never believe in God, so stop preaching, those who are. Those who state there are possibilities are definetly more spiritually aware. Isn't it more "holy" to accept once beliefs, even if different, then to scrutinize and devalue that person. I hate the idea of religion for reasons of my own personal beliefs. But, I don;t feel entitled to say, hey you, you are wrong and I am right!

Anyone who says that their religion is correct is full of **it. I mean really, for all we know, Zeus and Hera are sitting up there in the clouds with their friends looking down at us.

Personally, I don't believe in God. I believe in man's need to justify his own existence and fear of the end. That is my own opinion. I don't claim it to be the ultimate truth, but I don't appreciate people who say otherwise.

Religion has always been a touchy subject, look at Israel and the Middle East. They've been fighting for thousands of years. They'll continue to do so.

Just one final note...Christianity and Islam came out of Judaism. Judaism has been around the longest and when differences were reached, new religions formed.

Anything is possible. People who say they are atheist know just as much about GOD as christians or any other religion. Why else would an atheist say they are atheists? It's a choice.

Why would an atheist say they don't believe in someone we can't see unless they believe there is someone there not to believe in? Christians believe in GOD and we can't see him. It's called faith. Everyone has it.

I think that is why agnostics have the intellectual high-ground. Simply saying we will never definitively prove that some kind of god does or doesn't exist is the most logical way to handle the situation.

I know what you are saying. I am an athiest, because my mind won't let me believe that some figure created the world with a wave of his hand. (but yet people are dying just because they were born in certain countries) But so many people belive in it. So many logical and smart people. Who really knows?? I try to live my life as a good person, and that is good enough for me. I don't do it to please anybody but myself!

It's quite possible, yes, as there is no proof. I see nothing wrong with allowing everyone their own personal beliefs.

Just because you don't believe in God doesn't mean He doesn't exist...

Just because you don't believe in the devil...doesn't mean he doesn't exits...

Satan believes in God and he's going into the Lake of Fire for eternity.

Where will you go?

I wish you peace!

As long as we speculate with our limited brains, yes, we are all wrong. But if we submissively hear from bonafide spiritual master coming in an unbroken line of disciplic succession, we will gain perfect knowledge.

Maybe not completely wrong.

What if all roads lead to God, but S/He goes by many names?
