There are many ways. You need at least 2 credit lines. One can be a credit card. Keep your unpaid balance at no more than 33% of the high credit reported for the card on your credit report. The added authorized user on someones card is a great way too. Finance a car, raise your credit card limits and never be late. The only other way to know how to specifically to raise your credit, you need to get a "tri-merge" credit report with all 3 of your scores and have someone who knows (like a professional loan broker) give you specific advise regarding your particular credit report and how it can be enhanced.

I don't know of any way to do so "ASAP" but first you should pull your credit to see why it is low, verify everything is correct.
Other than that, pay your bills on time. Use credit cards, but pay them off.
Check out MSN for other tips. They have tons of helpful articles regarding credit!!! Also Experian's website has great info.

Try using a poor credit credit card such as Continental Finance Mastercard: http://www.cardoffers.com/manage/track/e.asp?ID=100316481 or Total Visa: http://www.cardoffers.com/manage/track/e.asp?ID=100316419 - my source explains a credit report quite well, you may want to check it out.
