ok so there is this guy i realy like and all my friends have been saying that he might like me back but i just found out he is in an "open relationship" with a girl from another town and i dont know how i feel about this i am sad and angry and depressed this kind of relationship goes against my morals and my friend keeps saying well it is open so you still could but idk i have never dated before and i dont want to be just some backup girlfriend it just isent the same and worst of all he sits next to me in biology and i swear that the teacher knows i like him i dont know what to do somebody please help me!!!!

If he is not married, he is fair game. You don't have to bother with him if you don't want to, but you wouldn't write here if you were not interested.

So let me get this straight. You like a guy, but he's in a relationship that goes against your morals. So why do you want to be with this guy if he doesn't live up to the standards you've set for yourself? You said yourself (in not so many words) that he's not the kind of guy you want. Don't fall into that trap. It'll be hard since he sits next to you, but try to focus yourself wholly on something else and forget about him.

First off, he's just a guy, just another human being like you. Don't put him on some pedestal. Do you really want to be with someone who you can't even act normal around? If he's in an open relationship, he would probably be in an open relationship if he was with you too. I think you need to go on and find someone else worth your time.

Go read your Bible. Open relationships are not what marriages, or even dating are about!
If you can't trust the guy now, then you never will! He's not even trying to earn your trust. Don't even go near him.
There are nice guys out there! Go find one, or let one find you. Keep your morals intact!

As hard as this sounds, i would consider him taken, I wouldn't be chasin after some other girls guy, Those kind of relationships never last because they started by cheating

If he is in another relationship then he will not give you the respect you deserve. Forget about him... I'm sure there are plenty of guys at school that you can date.
