I have tried many churches, Lutheran, Baptist, Methodist, and independents. The people there, all seem to be pro war, unwilling to donate time to assist the poor, and have no spirit.

dont rely on religion and churches.
study the word ( bible ) for yourself and learn.
this will help,it's geared toward the college group, but you can ask your questions here and get a legitimate answer.
Also, have you been praying that god show you the church to worship in ? Just searching around on your own wont do.

I'm not certain, but I would wager that you were the one who changed. And this is not a harmful thing. However, remember your change is not automatically joined by the remainder of your community.

The only person responsible for anger is the person who feels it. I know that's a hard thing to grasp, but stay with me here. If you're angry, it means either you're hurt, scared, disappointed or frustrated. If you were to examine your expectations, you might find that the reason you're angry is that people have not behaved as you expected, and you've blamed them. In fact, perhaps your expectation was inaccurate and not based on the reality of the world.

It may sadden you or make you more angry (perhaps at yourself) that expectations so reasonable don't come true. But many times they don't. Accepting this may help you let your anger go. Then you can replace the erroneous thoughts with more true ones. And I expect that you will feel less angry when you really understand what to hope for in people, and what is not worthy of hoping for.

We live in troubled times. I went to a church once that suddenly decided to stop reading from the Bible and started preaching from a book, a very popular book, written by a man. I left and have never gone back. There are times now that I wonder if I should not have discussed it with the Pastor before deciding to look for another church. If it's possible for you to speak to the congregation, I would try that first. You appear to be seeking a place to fellowship and it breaks my heart that you cannot seem to find one that doesn't cause feelings of anger. I'll pray for you. Keep reading the Bible and don't give up on fellowship. God bless you.

What is pro war? Standing up for Israel .Read your Bible Some people have money and some have talents. Bill Gates donates millions to charity, but you don't see him in an apron at the soup kitchen. Its not the denomination that determines the level of spiritually. What do you do for service? You don't have to belong to a church to volunteer..Check out the Salvation Army or the Red Cross.

Maybe all of the churches that you have visited are "dead" churches like the one Jesus had John write to.

Revelation 3:1 "And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: 'The words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. "'I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead. 2 Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God.

If the Holy Spirit isn't working in the lives of the people in the church then they can hold services and go through the motions that people associate with a "church" but the church is dead because they are not energized by the life giving spirit of God. Why don't you pray for Him to lead you to a Bible teaching, Christ honoring, Spirit led church like the one that I attend?

Try going to a Catholic Church. They’re not pro war but there are members of the Church who are for the war. Just like abortion which the Catholic Church condemns, there are so called Catholics who are for the murder of an unborn child.

They are pro war because our country is at war and many of them have loved ones in the war.

i understand your feeling about people, to be human is to error, but to love unconditionally is Divine. king David said i would have fainted if i only have hope in this life, and not belive to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.when we come to the understanding that the LORD JESUS CHRIST is the author and finisher of our faith. we can rest in peace.

Sad to say most Christians don't live the Christian life because they never made Jesus the Lord of their life.
