ahhh, you are back and it took 2 weeks... who captured Mexico City with a smaller force than the protectors? Mexico SOLD TExas, New Mexico, California, Arizona for a few million dollars.... If your government was not so corrupt, YOU too could have the same advantages as here in the US... Go back and fight for your rights there, if you are so proud of your heritage... or else get US citizenship and be LEGAL... and then assimilate into our culture... learn ENGLISH

You are right, after all it does take a lot of courage to take on 185 men from Texas and Tennessee, when all you have behind you is a measly 5000 soldiers.

For your information, the Alamo was a delaying action. It was never intended to defeat Santana. Just to delay him while Huston gather enough forces to shove it down his throat. It took those Mexicans 13 days to kill off the men of the Alamo.

Nice going fella.

Lewisville isn't a bad place to live. its what you will make of it. there are a lot of Mexicans, most are good but like in all races you have good & bad, as far as carrying weapons, not many do. there a lot of us with weapons in there home, & that's a good part. you might find a rattlesnake sunning it self around the lake & they don't want any part of you. so watch where you step & you will be fine. a bee sting is worse then a scorpions sting, from personal experience. just look under a log or rock before picking it up. Texas is a good place, nothing to fret about just have fun

Mexicans also fought for independence in Texas, or should I say Spanish speaking Americans. This fact is overlooked alot in most history books. Just as is the color, ethnic origin of the most famous freedom fighter of Mexico.

Texas fought to be free of Mexico because Mexico didn't allow slavery and the great 'heroes' of Texas wanted slavery. Ugh.

Back then it also wasn't politically incorrect to NOT want your state/region filled with illegal immigrants, either.
