I am in my 2nd to last year of junior high. my 1st bf dumped me after 2 months. I REALLY want to new bf, but I don't know howw to get one. I am not popular, or considered "hot" by a lot of guys.....barely any for that matter.
I am an A and B student, and I am not very outgoing, but I do have a lot of friends, and most of them consider me "perky."
HELP!

try and find someone who is more compatible with u the problem is u wont go 4 the kid that likes u because u like the football player who likes the head cheerleader, pick ur spots better go for the kid that is just as smart as u same books same classes , get a study group going with him and u will c how much u have in common with the normal kid thats just as smart as u, u seem to be 2 smart to not realize the other guys are the ugly ones.

Ask youself, why you want a boyfriend? As far as you saying that you are not considered 'hot' by a lot of guys, there are plenty of guys that do think that you are 'hot' but just are too shy to say something. Here is where you come in as the aggressor. Make your choice as to who you like, don't think about what they think of you. Also, if you are going off to college, you definitely want to go unattached.

Why do you need a boyfriend, the answer is that you don't. If you are don't feel like you can survive without a boyfriend you amy need to work on your self-esteem rather then trying to find someone to tell you that you look good today etc.

It's not something you get but something you happen to find, or happens to find you. If you go flashing guys then you will find one faster than you can say "boy friend" but they wouldn't be the kind worth keeping. Just don't let your hopes down, don't compromise yourself and smile a lot. LUCK :-)

have your friends set you up on blind dates. join clubs. there are alot of things you can do. don't worry or rush it.
