What's the deal? It's starting to really annoy me. I don't really care if his bicycle cost $2000 and how much he spends on every little gadget that goes with the bike. When all was said and done it sounded like it probably cost $8000 to $10,000 bucks plus he has another one and was going to buy yet another. He tells me how much everything costs. Seriously what gives?

He is definitely not trying to compensate for anything in that area (he's extremely blessed in that area--maybe too much so!...lol)
He is a self-made man that is probably set for life, so he is not in debt. I have to say that my eyes start to glaze over every time he starts to tell me about how much every gizmo and gadget costs. He did this for an hour and a half a couple weeks ago.

1) He is trying to impress you.
2) Making up for lack of other things.
3) Maybe a dull personality.
4) Most likely in debt to his eyeballs.
5) All of the above.

Some of us guys think the way to impress a girl is to show off how much money we have. Sometimes it does seem like all you want is someone to support you, so it is rather common.

rofl........ there are ppl all over the world just like him..... I know a 60 yr old man , well, actualy I know several men like that.... they compete with each other over the cost of their toys..... when they talk to me about it I just laugh and tell them how funny it is to see what *little boys* will spend on toys, and dont they know they could just ask Santa ??? makes their face go red and so I laugh a little louder...... and some women think boys who have expensive toys are compensating for smaller things..... *wink*....... ask him that........ God bless

He likes you and he's trying to impress you. He thinks girls like guys with money, and he's right, but the way it sounds like he's going about things is kinda cheesy
