I was operated on a couple of years ago and have a scar, I have been applying skin softeners to it, I just want to know what you do for your scars. Thanx in advance.

try mederma... that seems to work.
or cocoa butter... palmer's is really good for reducing the appearance of scars. shey butter does just about the same thing.

Adelle Davis in Let's Get Well recommends applying Vitamin E oil to the scar and takeing 400-800 iu daily. She claimed it helped in some cases, but no guarantees.

If it is large and cosmetically significant then get it lasered.
sometimes this may need minor surgery.
Skin coloring agents may help.
