Basically, I wanna have a kid. Probably with another guy. Obviously I cant defy science and have it with whoever he turns out to be but Im not sure if I should just sex my friend, let her carry it for me, or if I should adopt across seas and bring it back? I dunno.

Wait until you are in a serious relationship with someone and then adopt. Mixing a friend and a pregnancy is just asking for trouble down the road.

I cariied two for my best friend and all is well! We did what we call the turkey baster method though. Insimination. That was only because my husband didn't like the idea of a guy, even a gay one he knows and loves, sexin up his wife! You do however have to deal with legal channels to get full custody. I did not relenqiush my parental rights, just in case something were to happen to him or if there was a custody battle between him and his partner later on. We trust each other enough to do this. Basically, he took a paternity test, then told the judge the situation. He was of course granted full custody and I don't pay support or anything. Is worked well for us. If you decide to adopt, do not go overseas

I agree with Tia. Adopt. You seem to forget that any baby you make with your female friend will be HER baby too. What makes you so sure she'd be willing to give up her baby to you. Or carry a child, feel it grow inside her into a human being and then just hand it over to you when born. Females are designed to care, cling, fight and die for the infants they bare. Their bodies, hearts and hormones dont recognize the difference between their own biological child and one of completely different genetic origin (i.e. :in vitro with donor egg and sperm.). Besides, what makes you so sure she'd consider you ready for a child or a suitable potential parent? Adopt, definitely.

i would totally carry a child for my friend tho she is not a he, just having no luck conceiving, but they are considering adopting because there are so many children without a real home, and so many unwanted babies/children that deserve a loving home. adopting overseas is such a wonderful thing. you are taking a child who was destined to have nothing and providing them a wonderful life they never would have had a chance at. best of luck to you and your partner.

Wait until you are in a serious relationship. It is much easier and more joyful raising a child and sharing the child with someone you love. (Not to take anything away from single parents, but it is hard.)

The ways you're suggesting will only end in heartache. Wait until your in a serious relationship and settled down, THEN think about children.

Are you male or female? I'm confused... You want a kid, probably with another "guy". But your not sure if you should have sex with you friend and let "her" carry it? I think that you need to look at getting a "legal" marriage first, then have kids.

Raising a child alone is more than tough. it can be excruciatingly difficult at times.
I would reccommend being in a relationship with someone who wants to help you raise the child first.
