ummm, well, firstly I cry, then scream, then punch and break things, then i cut myself, and cut and cut and cut. if things get really bad, i overdose, or attempt suicide in other ways, all attempts were obviously unsuccessful!
but i think what you do is much healthier and better for everyone, so maybe i should follow your strategies! thanks mate.

many times being upset is caused by a fear. By "breaking it down" or analyzing the underlying fear the issue that is really upseting a person can be discovered and more easily dealt with. Anger is almost always caused by a fear, and is usually also associated with expectations that may or may not be being met or properly communicated. Simply knowing this and thinking about it can often show someone how silly or unfounded the cause for us being upset is and even if it is a legitimate fear issue it can better be dealt with by breaking it down to the roots.

Well when I was a teenager I just cut myself. I learned better coping skills to deal with pain.
I write in a journal, write poetry, draw or do other artwork. I also like to sleep it off. Sometimes when I wake up I feel much better. Also I like to take bubble baths or light candles of my favorite scent. I tend to give myself some moping time, then I do something positive to try to balance myself.

I find that getting on the computer helps. Its distracts me from being so angry. I usually go to my note book page and just type out my aggression....Sometimes, I will play a video game. I use to just scream at the top of my lungs till I had a sore throat, but that never solved anything. I wish I could say that talking it out helps, but times it just makes me more pissed off.

You have nice ways to handle it.
Well , There are other ways too. Like listening to your very favourite music, getting yourself indulge in your most favourite hobby, simply go on for a walk to be in touch with nature.
goto the temple or church or anything that you believe the most.
chat with your true friends you think he/she motivates you.
stay positive . Think of dreams of your life you want to achieve. get mingled with small innocent babies,kids, they are little wonder angels.
wow .... so many more. .. just think of it and it could refresh your thoughts
