I don't think it's good for kids to watch scary movies. When I was 11 I like A Little Princess and some of the Mary-Kate and Ashley movies, if that helps any.

"Something Wicked This Way Comes" It's from a Ray Bradbury book. I read it when I was about 11. The movie came out later. It's about a couple of boys and a strange carnival. Not as scary and the ones you mentioned. More creapy than scary.

Bench Warmers, She's the Man, now if she likes scary......a very good, older one is The Lady in White.........my kids have seen it several times and they still get a little freaked out! I bought it when my 21 and 18 year old were young and then reintroduced it to my younger set....13, 12 & 10 a few years back.......the older 2 say man this movie still freaks me out! LOL

She's a pretty brave girl. But i wouldn't recommend these movies for a 11 year old. Try Shrek 1 & 2. They are simply too cute.

What adult in their right mind would let an 11-yo watch those movies?!?!? I was going to say Harry Potter and the like, but with that repertoire, she should be acting in her own slashers...
