"Happy birthday to yoohoohoohoo." What he says is pretty much the same as when I got him, with only a couple things like," I Love yoohoohoo". How can I build his vocabulary? Thanks

You have to repeat the same word over and over and over and in the same tone of voice until the bird starts saying it too, then you can move on to the next word.

Our BFA learns phrases more easily when our 12 year old daughter teaches her. Something about the pitch, tone and excitement level in her voice. Peanut has been with us since Feb 1, 2006 (she is about 7-8 years old) and has doubled her vocabulary and noises since Em started working with her.

you can talk to him more and repeat a word a couple times and play some music to him and he'll pick up eventually because my Senegal doesn't talk to much but he whistles a lot and hes starting to pick up words so you just have to keep talking to him and eventually he will start picking up words
