I am only 17yrs old and my mother says that I have a bad liver or kidney. What should I do? Is there supplements I can take? What are the long term effects of having a bad liver/kidnet? Current possible related symptoms I have are dry/bad breath, frequent yawning with tears, etc.

your mom isn't a doctor. go see a doctor. Never, never listen to your mother.

Where is Mom getting this diagnosis ??
Is she a physician ? Have you had the proper testing ?

A person can have a bad kidney and/or a bad liver..there's a BIG difference between the two.

The bad breath may be a symptom; if good mouth hygiene doesn't take care of it; but the yawning thing...is a sign of lack of sleep.

Wow, I may have just learned something. Is bad breath really a sign? Because I brush my teeth all the time and eat mints and my breath is bad. Also I have flank pains and sewer odor in my urine. Someone send me an email.
And hey man, your mom mis probably just be trying to scare you, but see a doctor just incase.

I bet you have been sick alot during your life.

Ever hear about Munchausen's Syndrome by Proxy?

Mother's get attention by having sick kids....it is very sad. Unless your Mom is a Doctor, you both need to see a qualified physician...not a naturapath...or any other quack....a real "MD" doctor!
