If so, how is that done?

Okay, So I need to preserve it....But How? I have no clue! Thanks.

You will need to adjust the pH level as well as the amount of sodium in your product. Salt and acid are both natural preservatives, you might be able to pasteurize the product after it has been jarred for sale. Another consideration is that you will probably need to get a license from the FDA in order to sell your product to the public. This will also require stainless steel kitchens, a lot of time and temperature recording and a HACCP plan to be properly set up. ( Hazard analysis critical control point) This would be the minimum requirement for a product in a supermarket..... For a craftshow or roadside farmstand, you can probably just seal your product and store under refrigeration and sell within 7 days. Hope this helps and good luck with your project!!

if you are selling it the same day you make it and label it to be used with 48 hours then none are needed. But if you plan on making a lot ahead you would need preservatives or they would spoil.

Yes. If you are planning to jar (or can it), it would need some type of preservative.

yes add food preservatives or you could sell fresh one in the cooler

Probably not, because the acidity in the ingredients should be enough. However, if there are any dairy ingredients, you'd have to make sure that it's pasteurized.
