If you're taken, then don't worry about hurting anyone's feelings. That should be enough for the freshman. :-) If she is hurt by the fact that you're with someone else, then that's her problem. Let her deal with it--but get it over with now.. before you lead her on.

Tell her now so, she won't continue to harass you. If she does then she is a psycho chick. This happened to my brother and it irritated our whole family because she would call at all hours during the night and she would follow him.

just tell her the truth. yes she'll hurt for a while but it'll save you the trouble and her the pain of telling her later on when she actually is ready for a relationship with you or worse if she sees you and your girlfriend together. she'll be crushed!
